Atlee came to visit

My niece that lives in Arizona came to visit me over the weekend. She is so much bigger than when saw her last in March. She is so adorable!! She drools alot so her clothes are always wet. I wish she didn't live so far away. Oh yeah, my siblings that live in Arizona came to visit too.

The Pit!!

I recently spent a week in Raleigh, North Carolina for a genealogy conference. My friends Cherie and Dominic and I went to The Pit for dinner one night. The Pit is a BBQ place that was featured on The Food Network and even Bobby Flay did a throwdown with the pitmaster. I think Bobby Flay lost but I'm not sure. The food was so good. Cherie and I split a Banana Pudding for dessert. It was so delicious.

I just found out i can blog from my phone. I don't think i can add pictures this way though.

Meet Rupee and Rosie!!

We have two new additions to our home. And we think they are pretty freakin' cute!! We got them at a Pet Super Adoption over the weekend. This is Rupee. She is named after the form of currency in India.
This is Rosaleen "Rosie". She is named after the character Jennifer Hudson plays in The Secret Life of Bees.
They are so cute when they sleep.

Don't mind the shaved belly, they were spayed on Friday.

They are sisters so they like to be close together.
